Archer Systems was contracted in 2023 to build a custom portal for law firms and the judge presiding over the 3M Earplugs lawsuit. This portal needed to be a dashboard to keep track of every single claimant’s paperwork completion status involved in the class action lawsuit (280,000+ people).

Goals:
Design a dashboard portal to show various claimant data for law firms and the Judge.
Make the dashboard up to date with the latest UI and UX brand refresh for Archer Systems.
Account for certain design limitations that come with Power BI.

The sections and charts in the portal represent the various data connected to the claimants, and what their submission status is. Are they a Level 1 claimant, meaning they are entitled to the highest possible pay out? Have they completed their paperwork or is their law firm missing information about them? Archer Systems does this work on a normal basis for lawsuits - but usually not on cases with almost 1/3 of a million people to track down. Usually not cases where the judge has made a special request for a portal like this one.

This project moved extremely quickly, sometimes changing multiple times a day. I worked with developers closely to provide a clear direction for them to look towards and keep in mind while they quickly began to set up the backend. Quick and early wireframes of the main dashboard page came in handy to communicate to all parties involved (Archer, CaseLocker, Qualtrics, etc) and help define product requirements.

My favorite thing about this project was how it reminded me the importance of valued relationships with development.
